Innocence or Despair: "I Want to Beg to Feed My Parents" – DLSA Inspection Reveals Heartbreaking Reality

Following the directives of JHALSA, DLSA Secretary Rakesh Roshan conducted an inspection of Premashraya, Balashraya, and Sahyog Village shelter homes in Ranchi today. During the counseling of rescued children, a heart-wrenching moment occurred when the children expressed, "I want to grow up and beg so that I can feed my parents."
During the visit, the Secretary interacted with 37 children to review their living conditions and facilities. While many expressed a deep desire to return home, Mr. Roshan issued strict instructions to the center superintendents to ensure regular education and professional counseling for the children to foster a positive mindset. The inspection team included Deputy LADC Rajesh Kumar Sinha and several PLVs.
