Jharkhand/Ranchi (M Bharat 24 News Live): The weather across Jharkhand is expected to remain clear over the next five to six days, according to the Meteorological Department. Minimum temperatures in several districts, including the state capital Ranchi, are likely to drop further, leading to a noticeable increase in cold conditions.
The department stated that fog and mist are likely to prevail during the early morning and late-night hours in Ranchi and nearby areas. However, skies will remain clear and sunny during the day.
During the past 24 hours, Chaibasa recorded the highest temperature in the state at 32.8°C, while the lowest temperature was recorded in Bano (Simdega district) at 13.9°C.
In Ranchi and adjoining regions, the weather remained clear on Friday. While residents experienced a slight chill in the morning, the afternoon turned pleasant with bright sunshine.
On Friday, the maximum temperatures recorded in major cities were as follows:
- Ranchi – 27.1°C
- Jamshedpur – 31.3°C
- Daltonganj – 32.0°C
- Bokaro – 28.1°C
- Chaibasa – 32.8°C
Meteorologists predict that the nights will become cooler in the coming days as winter conditions gradually set in across the state.
