Cantonment Board begins cleaning Chhath Ghats in Ramgarh

 

Jharkhand/Ramgarh: The Ramgarh Cantonment Board area has begun cleaning all Chhath Ghats in the city. On the instructions of Chief Executive Officer Anant Akash, the ghats are being cleaned under the leadership of Sanitation Inspector Nitin Thakur.

Cantonment Board Executive Officer Anant Akash stated that the cleanliness drive was initiated to ensure that Chhath devotees face no inconvenience. All Jharkhand Student Union (AJSU) leader Neeraj Mandal said that the Council's efforts to clean every street and locality are commendable.

Mandal urged the Executive Officer to ensure that all ghats, especially those along the Damodar River, Bijulia Talab, and Har Hari River, are cleaned before the Chhath festival, and that proper lighting arrangements be made on the approaching roads. The faulty lights on the poles should be repaired immediately so that no problems arise for the devotees or devotees.

Supervisor Nav Ranjan Ram, Lal Babu Ram, Bhola Ram, Gulchand Ram, Bittu Ram, Bharat Ram, Bhima Ram, Anil Ram, Prem Nayak, Shekhar Ram and several other sanitation workers were present on the occasion.
