Babulal Marandi wrote on social media on Sunday that the Jharkhand government has transferred the data from the JharBhoomi portal for land mutations to the state data center, but even here, it takes 15-20 minutes to open an application. This is a new trick of the bureaucrats.
Marandi said that approximately 18,000 mutation cases are pending in Ranchi district alone. These cases are not pending due to slow internet, but rather due to the Circle Officer (CO) being bribed with large sums of money or not being given a share of the land.
He said that instead of harassing the public, Hemant Soren's government would be better off enacting new rules that would divide ancestral lands not just among the Gotiya (family beneficiaries), but between the Chief Minister and the Chief Commissioner (government beneficiaries). This rule would also legalize the black money reaching you (Hemant Soren), and free the poor from the hassle of running to the circle office for mutations.
