Jharkhand/Ramgarh: Another clash broke out between CCL security personnel and coal-pickers in the Rajrappa area of Ramgarh district. Two security officers were injured in the stone-pelting incident.
On Thursday, CCL security personnel intercepted some women and young men who were picking coal. They snatched the coal from them and assaulted some of them. Following this, the coal-picking villagers also became enraged and began pelting stones. CCL security officer Ashish Jha suffered a head injury in the stone-pelting, and another employee was also injured. The injured security officer, Ashish Jha, and his companion were treated at CCL Hospital, Rajrappa. Rajrappa police arrived at the scene upon receiving information about the incident. They secured the CCL security officers and dispersed the villagers. Police will take further action after the CCL security officers submit an application.
