Tribute meeting organized in schools of Ranchi district on the demise of Education Minister Ramdas Soren

 

Ranchi: Deep condolences were expressed in all the primary schools of Ranchi district on the untimely demise of Ramdas Soren, Minister of School Education, Literacy and Registration Department. Tribute meetings were organized in 2128 government and government-aided schools of the district on 18 August 2025 in his honor. About 2.5 lakh students and 10,000 teachers participated in these meetings, who paid emotional tribute to Soren's incomparable contribution in the field of education and his visionary leadership.

   In the tribute meetings, two minutes of silence was observed during the prayer meeting in all the schools. On this occasion, students and teachers remembered the life of Ramdas Soren, his struggling personality and his dedication towards education. The teachers told the children about the remarkable work done by him, especially his efforts for the spread and quality improvement of education in tribal and rural areas.

  Deputy Commissioner cum District Magistrate Ranchi, Manjunath Bhajantri, in his message said that the demise of Ramdas Soren is an irreparable loss not only for the politics and education world of Jharkhand, but for the entire society. His life and work is a source of inspiration for all of us. He said that the Ranchi District Administration and Education Department express deep condolences to the family of Ramdas Soren and pray that his soul rests in peace. His inspiration and dedication towards education will continue to guide all of us.
