Nishan Pad Yatra started for Shri Shyam Temple of Khatu Dham by taking Nishan from Rajrappa Temple

 

Ranchi: At 8:30 am, after the ritualistic worship and Aarti of Shri Shyam Nishan from Shakti Peeth Chhinnamastika Temple of Rajrappa, Shyam Bhakt Munna Sharma ji took the Nishan with the chanting of Jai Shri Shyam.

      A large number of Shyam Bhakts from Ranchi were present with him. First of all, everyone went to the sanctum sanctorum of the temple with the Nishan and worshipped the Mother Goddess. Sujit Panda ji duly worshipped the Nishan and Aarti of the Nishan was performed. It is known that this is the 14th Nishan Yatra Pad Yatra for Khatu Shyam.

       Starting from Rajrappa, the Nishan Pad Yatra will reach Ramgarh after a journey of 30 kms. Here, the Nishan will be welcomed, felicitated and worshipped in the temple of Shri Shyam Bhagwan. Night halt will be in Ramgarh.

       On this occasion, the Panda of the Mata temple welcomed the Shyam devotee Munna Sharma by offering him clothes and garlands. This Shri Shyam Nishan Pad Yatra will cover a distance of 1550 kms from Rajrappa via Ramgarh, Hazaribagh, Barhi, Chauparan, Sherghati Aurangabad, Sasaram, Dehri on Sone, Banaras, Allahabad and will reach Shri Shyam Temple in Khatu in 35 days. There will be a night rest after a journey of approximately 40 kms daily.

        Munna Bhai has done the Yatra on foot 13 times in total i.e. 7 times from Ranchi in Jharkhand, 1 time from Kolkata, 1 time from Raigarh, 1 time from Darbhanga, 1 time from Gumla, 1 time from Kanpur and 1 time from Bashukinath.

     This will be his 14th Shri Shyam Nishan Pad Yatra from Rajrappa Dham in Jharkhand with his Shyam Nishan. The journey will start every day at 6:00 AM after Nishan Poojan, Aarti, Bhog. The journey will be halted at 6 PM. Also, in temples, Dharmshalas, Shyam Premi's residences, wherever people provide place to stay and holy place to keep Nishan, there in the evening Aarti, Poojan, Sankirtan, Prasad Bhog will be offered to Baba's Nishan.
