Ranchi, October 26, 2026: Ajay Kumar Singh, Additional Chief Secretary of the Jharkhand Government’s Department of Health, Medical Education and Family Welfare, has directed districts to accelerate the implementation of the TB-Free India Campaign and upload updated information on the website within 24 hours after making necessary improvements in districts with unsatisfactory performance. He emphasized that financial assistance under the Nikshay Poshan Yojana must be transferred to eligible tuberculosis patients without delay, ensuring that no beneficiary is deprived of the scheme’s benefits. A review meeting was held with Civil Surgeons of all districts, National Health Mission (NHM) officials and officers associated with the campaign.
