Chamber Election: 42 Nomination Forms Received on First Day
Ranchi, August 31, 2026: The nomination process for the 2026-27 elections of the Federation of Jharkhand Chamber of Commerce and Industries (FJCCI) began on Monday for the Executive Committee and Regional Vice-President posts. A total of 42 nomination forms were received on the first day.
Election Committee Chairman Anchal Kinger and Co-Chairman Pawan Sharma said that the last date for submitting nomination forms is September 1, 2026, until 4 PM. After the deadline, all nomination forms will be scrutinised, following which the list of eligible candidates will be published.
The election officials clarified that candidates must submit a valid DIN (Director Identification Number) along with their nomination forms. Nominations without a valid DIN will not be considered valid.
The last date for withdrawal of nominations is September 3, 2026, until 3 PM. After the withdrawal deadline, the final list of candidates contesting the election will be published.
