India and Canada discuss ways to enhance bilateral trade and investment
New Delhi, November 13
Union Minister of Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal and Canada’s Minister of Export Promotion, International Trade and Economic Development Maninder Sidhu co-chaired the 7th India-Canada Ministerial Dialogue on Trade and Investment (MDTI) in New Delhi on Thursday.
According to the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, the two ministers held detailed discussions on ways to boost bilateral trade, increase investment and strengthen economic ties. Minister Sidhu is currently visiting India to explore fresh opportunities to advance trade and investment relations between the two countries.
Piyush Goyal wrote on X that it was a pleasure to co-chair the 7th India-Canada Ministerial Dialogue on Trade and Investment as part of the new Roadmap 2025. He added that the meeting focused on strengthening bilateral trade, promoting investment and deepening cooperation between India and Canada.
