Garbage pile at the mouth of Tupudana Nepali Colony in Ranchi, locals find administration responsible

Jharkhand/Ranchi: Garbage has been piled up in the Nepali colony of Tupudana in Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand. The dirty roads and rotting dirt of the local administration are opening the hole of inactivity and claims. Dirty water from drains is also flowing on the roads, causing trouble to local residents.

Such an empire of filth has spread under the Tupudana Ring Road and at the mouth of the Nepali Colony that Gujarana has now become a crisis for the people. The entire area under and around the bridge is filled with stinking water, rotting garbage and mosquitoes. Passers-by are forced to pass with a handkerchief over their noses. However, the Ranchi Municipal Corporation and local people's representatives are completely silent. If no concrete arrangements for cleaning and drainage are made, the area from Ring Road to Nepali Colony will soon become a disease zone.

Here, under the bridge, accumulations of water and garbage have been stagnant for months as dirty water. Because of the lack of drainage, the constant flow of dirt is now killing the rot. Locals say that the municipality is only active on paper, no cleaning work is being done on the ground.

Manoj Nag says that roads, sanitation and clean drinking water have become basic problems. Complaints have been filed against MLAs, MPs and officials several times, but to no avail. People are in the shadow of the danger of diseases. This time, continuous rains and negligence in cleaning have further affected the people.

Ricky Topno, a local resident, says that this would not be the case if the pipes were laid to cross the water under the bridge. In the name of cleanliness, the municipal corporation is doing zero work.

Vimla Bhengra expressed regret that when the same situation happened near Bagal's hotel, it was cleaned immediately, but no one cares about two steps away. This is pure discrimination.

Bikram Singh said that near Shataranji Bahar High Tension Tower and at the mouth of the road leading to Nepali Colony, the condition is still bad. Heaps of garbage are spread along the roadside.
