Change in Ranchi's traffic system regarding Muharram festival: SP, traffic

Ranchi. Muharram festival is on the coming Sunday (July 6). Regarding this, the district administration has changed the traffic route of the capital Ranchi. This change will be applicable from 10:00 am on 06 July 2025 till the end of the procession. 

Operation of vehicles will be prohibited on these routes

Operation will be closed from Kishori Yadav Chowk to Shaheed Chowk via Upper Bazaar, Mahavir Mandir Chowk.

Operation of normal vehicles will be closed on both sides of Shaheed Chowk to Upper Bazaar, Mahavir Mandir Chowk.

Operation of vehicles from Subhash Chowk towards Upper Bazaar, Mahavir Mandir will be closed.

Operation of normal vehicles will be closed from Kachhari Chowk to Shaheed Chowk, Albert Ekka Chowk.

Operation of normal vehicles will be closed from Chadri Talab towards Albert Chowk.

The movement of vehicles will remain closed from Plaza Chowk to Albert Ekka Chowk.

The movement of vehicles will remain closed from Purulia Road to Sarjna Chowk.

The movement of vehicles will remain closed from SN Ganguli Road/ Vishnu Gali/ Budhia Gali and Radheshyam Gali to Main Road.

The movement of vehicles from Sujata Chowk towards Main Road will remain closed.

The movement of vehicles coming from Main Road near Wool House will remain closed.

The movement of vehicles coming from Karbala Chowk to Ratan PP Chowk will remain closed.

The movement of vehicles coming from Kadru to Main Road via Radisson Blu Hotel will remain closed.

The movement of vehicles coming from Jap One Commandant Awas Mor to Rajendra Chowk will remain closed.

The movement of vehicles coming from Mecon Chowk to Rajendra Chowk will remain closed.

The movement of vehicles coming from Tulsi Chowk to Ambedkar Chowk will remain closed.

Traffic will also be diverted on other routes of Ranchi city as per the requirement.
