Drain Slab Extending Onto NH75 Road Causes Traffic Block; Car Trapped in Pit for 20 Minutes
📍 Ranchi | Elevated Corridor OTC Ground Ramp
A major inconvenience and safety risk has emerged near the ramp of the newly constructed elevated corridor at OTC Ground in Ranchi. At the turning towards the southern lane, a drain slab has come onto the road surface, creating a pit-like depression where vehicle wheels are getting stuck frequently. This situation poses a continuous risk of accidents.
On Saturday evening, an Uber car carrying a woman passenger got trapped at the same spot. As the vehicle took the turn, its front left wheel slipped into the pit. With the help of locals, the car was pulled out, avoiding a major accident.
