Mumbai, September 24, 2026: On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, the Maharashtra State Khadi and Village Industries Board is organising a four-day exhibition at Mantralaya to provide a wider market platform for products made by registered rural artisans and Self-Help Groups.
The exhibition will be held from September 28 to October 1, 2026, at the Trimutri Complex of Mantralaya. Various products prepared by registered rural artisans and Self-Help Groups will be showcased during the event.
The main objective of the exhibition is to bring products made by rural artisans and Self-Help Groups closer to Mantralaya officials, employees and visitors, while providing artisans with better opportunities to market their products.
Under the guidance of the Industries Department, the Maharashtra State Khadi and Village Industries Board continues to undertake various initiatives to promote Khadi and village industries and strengthen self-reliance in rural areas.
The exhibition, organised to mark Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti, aims to promote rural craftsmanship, local products and the spirit of self-reliance.
The Board has appealed to officials, employees and visitors at Mantralaya to visit the exhibition and support products made by rural artisans and Self-Help Groups.
