Conspiracy to mislead tribal society: Vinod Kumar Pandey
Ranchi. Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) has strongly objected to the statement made by BJP state president Babulal Marandi regarding the Sirmatoli flyover. JMM General Secretary Vinod Kumar Pandey said that Mr. Marandi's statement is not only factless, but is also a conspiracy to mislead the tribal society. He said that the Sirmatoli flyover was inaugurated by Chief Minister Shri Hemant Soren on June 5 with complete transparency and public participation. It was not a "secret" program, but about 10,000 people were present on this occasion, including citizens of the capital Ranchi, local public representatives, people of tribal society and senior administrative officers.
Mr. Pandey said that why is the BJP now worried about tribal identity, when they constantly ignored the land, water and forest of the tribals during their rule. During the construction of the flyover, respecting the sentiments of the society regarding the sanctity of the Sarna site, changes were made in the construction as per the public sentiment and by communicating with the local people, consent was taken on alternative arrangements.
He also added that the JMM government believes in the balance of development and sensitivity. The Sirmatoli flyover is not just an infrastructure project, but a strong initiative to provide relief to thousands of people of the capital from daily traffic jams, in which tribals, non-tribals all will benefit equally. This is an excellent example of engineering.
General Secretary Pandey said that instead of misleading the public, BJP leaders should do positive politics and focus on the real issues of the society. By going against such a project related to public interest, the image of BJP has been proved to be anti-development. BJP should worry about this. The Hemant government has received a lot of support for the second consecutive time, the blessings of the people are with Hemant ji and will remain with him.
