Ranchi, September 16, 2026: Ranchi District Magistrate-cum-Deputy Commissioner Manjunath Bhajantri inspected various Ganpati Puja pandals across Ranchi city on Tuesday evening. During the inspection, he reviewed the arrangements at the pandals and issued necessary instructions to officials to ensure smooth law and order during the festivities.
The Deputy Commissioner directed the concerned officials to pay special attention to security arrangements, traffic management, crowd control and other essential arrangements during Ganpati Puja.
Additional District Magistrate (Law and Order) Dhananjay, Sadar Sub-Divisional Magistrate Kumar Rajat, concerned police station in-charges and members of the Peace Committee, including Jai Singh Yadav, Sagar Kumar, Nand Kishore Chandel, Mayank Giri and Bittu Singh, were present during the inspection.
The Deputy Commissioner appealed to the Puja pandal organisers and Peace Committee members to maintain coordination with the administration and extend their cooperation to ensure a peaceful and orderly celebration.
