Ranchi, September 6, 2026: Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren has expressed deep grief over the sudden demise of State Minister Sudivya Kumar, who was handling the Higher Education, Urban Development, Sports and Tourism departments.
Expressing his anguish, Chief Minister Soren said that it was extremely difficult for him to accept the tragic news of the untimely demise of his dear colleague, Sudivya Kumar Sonu. He said the departure of his cabinet colleague has left a void in his personal life that cannot be expressed in words.
Remembering the departed minister, the Chief Minister said that the incident has once again made him realise how transient life is. The voice that was among them until yesterday has now become a memory.
CM Soren described Sudivya Kumar’s demise as a personal loss for him and an irreparable loss for the state of Jharkhand. He said his absence will always be felt.
The Chief Minister prayed to God to grant a place to the departed soul at His feet and give strength to the bereaved family to endure this difficult hour.
